introduction, perhaps some rambling

we are, like several who we've seen join up here (and who pointed us towards this site existing in the first place!), making this as some creatures leaving cohost. for us, that was a place of development, discovery.... and writing. turns out flexing that creative muscle is actually fun! who could possibly have guessed!

so here we are. we'll probably start off with crossposting several of our stories here, in particular the longer and less furry ones. maybe we'll even give them... an editing pass??? shock, shock. at some point we might even have new stories to go here, or even more writing related rambles.

we'll get into the weeds of this place soon enough. right now we're still setting up half of everything, getting ready to start setting up the other half, and trying our best to celebrate the last weeks of our old home. plus, we're starting this blog off with our ultimate tradition: writing it while it's way too late and we're half asleep. whoops.

If you're new here from Cohost, then you might like newcomers which is covering the shutdown and providing resources about Dreamwidth. You can introduce yourself in the Friending Meme or find your Cohost friends if you wish. These are also resources you can share with other folks riding the wave from Cohost.

Crossposting is a good idea.

There are furries on Dreamwidth, though. More are coming over from Cohost. Some furry communities are listed on "Let Your Freak Flag Fly."
